Automated ACMI Line Integration

We are the first to bring Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) line integration to the T6 platform, transforming how formation flights are debriefed in basic flight training. Traditionally reserved for advanced pipelines and graduate courses, our solution makes ACMI technology accessible and practical for T6-level training.

 

Using existing hardware like ForeFlight and GPS pucks already in use at training bases, we've developed a seamless integration with TACView software. Unlike traditional setups, which required twenty to twenty-five minutes of manual configuration, our automation reduces this process to mere moments, ensuring debrief-ready visuals immediately after a flight.

For the first time, T6 instructors and students can replay and analyze formation sorties, breaking down critical maneuvers like rejoins, departures, arrivals, spacing, and pacing. This replay capability eliminates the need for instructors and students to rely on memory alone, significantly improving the clarity and quality of feedback.

The feedback from instructors and students who've used this tool has been overwhelmingly positive. By pairing ACMI integration with our root cause analysis approach, instructors can quickly identify not just what happened during a sortie, but why. This enables faster, more targeted learning, particularly in the early phases of formation training, and reduces the time required to master fundamental skills in primary training.
